Residential Supports (including Individual and In-Home Supports)
Overnight Support Specialists are responsible for ensuring the health and safety of the Individuals during the overnight shift of 11PM to 9AM.
- Must be MAP certified. Pass medications to the Individuals, following doctor’s orders.
- Awake Overnights are required to make hourly check-in calls to SteadyCare over the course of the night.
- Support the Individuals with their morning routines, including breakfast preparation and clean-up and personal hygiene routines (tooth brushing, showers, etc.).
- Provide assistance with basic household chores as assigned which may include laundry, making beds, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
- Complete daily electronic documentation, including log notes, data collection on behavior and ISP goals, Incident Reports, etc.
- Must be at least 18 years old with at least a high school diploma (or GED).
- Some locations require Safety-Care certification.
- ASL near-native ability strongly preferred at some locations.
